Our handmade wooden workbenches are available in standard lengths from 70cm to 3m, with widths ranging from 45cm to 120cm. We can also create custom sizes up to 4m in length to fit your specific workshop requirements. The standard bench height is 95cm, but we can adjust this to suit your needs. All measurements are customisable as each bench is made to order in our Yorkshire workshop.
We offer three main worktop thicknesses to suit different uses. The 25mm and 42mm worktops are engineered laminated boards, perfect for artists, crafters and lighter work requiring a flat surface. Our most popular option is the 70mm thick worktop, which we handmake using 75mm x 150mm boards glued together. This heavier option is ideal for woodturning, carving and carpentry as the extra weight prevents bouncing when using chisels or hammers. You can also choose an oak worktop for added durability and visual appeal.
Yes, all our wooden workbenches include free fully assembled delivery throughout mainland UK. Our delivery team will bring your workbench to your chosen location and set it up for you, so it's ready to use straight away. If you have limited access to your workshop, we can also arrange part-assembled delivery where the bench arrives in sections that bolt together easily.
Absolutely. We offer extensive storage options including drawers in the apron (1 to 4 drawers), 3-drawer sets on either or both sides, cupboards, and various lower shelf configurations from half-depth to full enclosed cupboards. You can also add rear shelving units, tool racks, upstands to prevent items rolling off, and even removable bowls or butler sinks built into the worktop. All storage options are built to the same high standard as the bench itself.
Our typical lead time is between 6 and 8 weeks depending on how busy we are, as each workbench is handmade to order in our Yorkshire workshop. All prices shown on our website include VAT and free fully assembled delivery throughout mainland UK (excluding Scottish Highlands). There are no hidden costs.
