Made to Order From Solid Timber
Product Details

These beautifully crafted traditional Potting Benches are solid and built to last. Each bench is made to order from solid, tanalised redwood in our workshop in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

As these Potting Benches have already been pressure treated there is never any need to apply any additional paint, varnish or preservative. Some people prefer to have their Potting Bench painted but this is purely cosmetic.

The Potting Bench frame is made from chunky 33mm thick timber to ensure that it cannot be pulled and twisted out of shape and makes for a 100% rigid bench.

We supply these Potting Benches for use by plant nurseries, garden centres, professional and amateur gardeners, schools and colleges.

These workbenches make the perfect addition to your garden or garden shed and you can rest assured that when you buy from us you are making a purchase that will last for years.

If you are looking for a bench more suited to being in your house, please see our workbenches. These are available with a host of options including steel worktops and vices.

Half Depth Shelf
Preferable if planning to sit down at your bench as this provides plenty of legroom.

The price for adding this feature depends on the size of the top selected in Step 1.

Three Quarter Depth Shelf
Suits users who will be occasionally sitting or perching at their bench on a stool.

The price for adding this feature depends on the size of the top selected in Step 1.

Great for storing and drying logs. Small gaps between boards for air circulation.

The price for adding this feature depends on the size of the top selected in Step 1.

Step 3: Wheel Options

No Wheels

12" Barrow Wheels (+ £75)

Step 4: Drawer Options

No Drawers

1 Drawer in Apron (+ £69)

2 Drawers in Apron (+ £99)

Step 5: Screw Head Options

Screw Heads Showing

Screw Heads Filled (+ £13)
Best option if painting. Gives a neater finish. The filler colour will not be quite the same colour as the timber but as close as we can get it and looks especially good when painted.

Hidden Behind Timber Plugs (+ £25)
Not suitable if painting. Circular plugs of matching timber are inserted over the screw head. This is the best option if you are not painting your chair(s) as the plug will match the surrounding timber and the screw heads become invisible.
