About NB Rhodes Furniture

Discover Our Story

Nick Rhodes, founder

"My name is Nick Rhodes and I originally started work as a maintenance gardener with a fortnightly round, but before long I was designing and building bespoke garden structures for my clients’ gardens.

I started off making basic structures and over time my designs became increasingly intricate and detailed.

I then started making Adirondack Garden Chairs and over the first couple of years we expanded our Adirondack range as people requested variations on what we were already offering.

We moved from our very small workshop (see picture) into something much bigger and took on some help in the workshop.

Our next product line was our Workbenches...

Nick Rhodes, founder
The original workshop

When I first started wood working I had built 8 work benches for my workshop and people often asked me if I could make a bench for them - we started by offering just the basic bench and over time we increased our range to include different worktop thicknesses, materials, shelves, tool wells and vices.

Our Workbench range naturally progressed to include our potting benches (which are the same design but have been treated).

Our latest line of furniture is our Farmhouse Interior Range.

We are constantly adding to this and all of these designs can be completely tailored to your requirements including choice of sizes, colours and finishes.

I hope that you love what you see on our website and welcome your feedback."
