Our bespoke console tables offer you something truly unique. It's furniture made just for you and your home, that lasts for years, at an amazing price (not to mention becoming the envy of your guests for years to come!)

Our console tables have a standard width of 36cm, which is perfect for hallways, behind sofas, or against walls without taking up too much floor space. Standard lengths range from 70cm to 3m, or we can create custom sizes to fit your exact space. The standard height is approximately 75cm, similar to dining table height, which works well for most applications. However, since every console table is made to order, we can adjust any dimension to suit your specific requirements and the space available.
Yes, our console tables are built with the same solid construction as all our furniture. The chunky 3-inch x 3-inch legs and solid 33mm thick timber frame ensure the table cannot be pulled or twisted out of shape, providing a completely stable surface. The worktop is made from specially selected redwood or oak, checked for quality before construction. You can confidently place heavy lamps, large mirrors, or decorative objects on your console table without any concerns about stability or strength.
A lower shelf adds valuable storage and display space, perfect for baskets, books, or decorative items. It also increases the visual weight of the console table, making it look more substantial and grounded. If you plan to use the console table behind a sofa, a lower shelf provides convenient storage without blocking views across the room. For hallways, a lower shelf is excellent for shoes, bags or umbrellas. The choice depends on your storage needs and aesthetic preferences, but many customers find the lower shelf extremely practical.
Whilst our console tables can function as occasional desk surfaces for short tasks like sorting post or jotting notes, they're not designed as full-time workstations. The standard 36cm width may feel cramped for computer work or spreading out papers. If you need a dedicated workspace, our study desks offer more depth (up to 90cm), purpose-designed storage options like drawers and cupboards, and features like cable management. However, for a dual-purpose piece in a small space, a console table can certainly serve occasional desk duties.
Redwood offers beautiful warm, honey tones and excellent value, creating a welcoming feel in hallways and living spaces. The natural grain patterns are subtle and work well with both traditional and contemporary interiors. Oak provides a premium option with more pronounced grain, superior hardness, and exceptional longevity. Oak is more resistant to the inevitable knocks and bumps in high-traffic areas like hallways.
